DESCRIPTION:Weekly luncheons are held every Wednesday at noon. Enjoy great food\, dynamic speakers\, and exciting networking opportunities. Chamber luncheons are open to the public. Chamber members receive special member-only pricing.\n\n\n\nExecutive Lunch Sponsor\n\nTBD\n\n\n\nUpgrade to the Executive Lunch and receive VIP treatment including cookies and special prize drawings.\n\n\n\nSpeakers\n\nAmelia Mosher - Sitka Mermaid Festival\n\n\n\nBio\n\nAmelia Mosher\, presenting on behalf of the Sitka Mermaid Festival\, was born and raised in Sitka.  She moved to Northern California to pursue her degree in Studio Art at Humboldt State University.  She has worked extensively with the arts in a variety of modalities and recently accepted the position as the Executive Director of the arts council.  She is currently working on this year's Wearable Art Show\, happening on March 16th at Harrigan Centennial Hall. This is a tasting event designed to achieve the Umami flavor experience through small plates/charcuterie board presentation.  Presenting partner Alaska Airlines is sponsoring a visiting chef\, who will work with local talent to combine a fusion of ethnic and local dishes.   Sitka Mermaid Festival is working with community partners the Seafood Festival and ALFA to produce the banquet.  With presentations about Aquaculture and the potential economic\, industrial and environmental opportunities it could have for Sitka.
