Mike will share updates on the Work Experience/Internship Program at SHS, outlining the new direction for student placements and how these opportunities can provide mutual benefits for both students and businesses.
He will also highlight the Dual Credit courses offered in partnership with the University of Alaska Southeast Sitka campus, along with the wide range of Career and Technical Education (CTE) classes available at Sitka High. This session is designed to spark discussion on how local employers can play a role in preparing students for the workforce while gaining valuable support and fresh perspectives from interns.
