Event Description:
The Sitka Seafood Festival (SSF) was formed in 2010 by a small group of volunteers, and is approaching it's 4th year running. The SSF is a culinary based festival established to celebrate Sitka’s local seafood and one of our greatest resources.
The festival has grown very quickly and has created National attention from The Food Network to Relish Magazine and has attracted the attention of many famous chefs as well! As the festival is continues to grow, it provides a fantastic way to attract the independent traveler, helping to boost our local economy, as well as a way to educate others about our seafood industry.
