Biography

Rob Allen, CEO of Sitka Community Hospital

Rob grew up in Sitka and graduated from Sitka High in 1982. He attended Harvard College and graduated with a degree in U.S. History.

Rob worked in the family company, Allen Marine, with responsibility for the tourism side of the business and Administration.

He left the family business to go back to school in 2006, received Masters in Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School of Government. Rob came out of semi-retirement last year to start R&R Marine here in Sitka, a charter business offering week long trips for up to six people between Sitka and Juneau on the motor yacht Midsummer Dream. He has recently agreed to stay on as permanent CEO at Sitka Community Hospital.
