Updates on Lakeside-Milam Recovery Centers

Biography

I was born and raised in SE Alaska between  the fishing community of Elfin Cove and Juneau. My Dad fished and my mother was a Public Health nurse.   I am currently the Director of Alaska Services for Lakeside –Milam Recovery Centers (LMRC).  LMRC is a private family owned alcohol and other drug addiction treatment facility based in Washington State but with a large Alaska alumni base.    We hold an Alaska business license. I hold an Alaska Level II Chemical  Dependency certificate and am a member of the  National Association of Addiction Treatment  Professionals of which my employer is the Chair. I travel the state to assist people into treatment,  do interventions and  facilitate trainings on the topic of addiction and recovery.   I have over 30 years of senior-level clinical and management experience for LMRC.  We provides comprehensive, highly professional addiction treatment to adults and adolescents.   I have the joy of bringing those services to residents of my home state of Alaska. 
I’m a grandmother to 15 and I love to fish and hunt.
