Event Description:

A free mini workshop on hosting events in Sitka,  Haines, or Wrangell will be held from 12:00 noon - 2:00 pm over Zoom on Wednesday, August 10th. The purpose of the hands-on training is to provide an overview of the healthy and inclusive even ts model while providing time for participants to work on an upcoming gathering.

During this workshop you will have an opportunity to do real-time work on an upcoming gathering, and the chance to connect and engage with other event planners in town. Pease note that organizations can adopt this framework as a policy. 

The purpose of the workshop is to offer participants tips, tricks, tools, resources, and practice time to assist in hosting gatherings that are accessible, following public health guidelines, supporting local businesses, and promoting the health and well-being of everyone involved. The workshop will be hosted by SEARHC.
