Bio
Erin Walker-Tolles is Executive Director of Catholic Community Service, a regional faith-based non-profit serving Southeast Alaska, and is honored to help fulfill the agency’s mission to “strengthen families and individuals in Southeast Alaska with dignity, care, and compassion”. In addition to supporting CCS’s more than 25 programs, Erin is committed to insuring that CCS partners with individuals, agencies, municipalities and tribes to create a network of social and health care services extending across Southeast Alaska to meet the needs of those most vulnerable in our communities.
Erin has lived in Southeast Alaska for more than 25 years, and has worked throughout Alaska supporting a variety of social and health care services, and advocating for those in need. She has administered and developed programs, and provided clinical direct services, in behavioral health, housing, public assistance, health care and other social service programs. She has worked for a variety of non-profits and for the State of Alaska. She has bachelor degrees in Philosophy and Social Sciences from Humboldt State University (1993), and a Master’s Degree in Community Mental Health from Trinity College of Vermont (2001).
