Presentation
Wage and Hour and Child Labor
Lizzie will give a brief overview of Wage and Hour statutes and regulations including minimum wage, overtime, exempt and non-exempt employees, recordkeeping laws, on-call time, travel time, return transportation, and final pay. She will also cover Child labor statutes and regulations including work permit requirements, safety, break laws, prohibited duties, and permissible hours.

Biography
Lizzie moved from California to Juneau in 2005 to attend, and ultimately graduate from, UAS with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business. After working in a law firm for a couple of years she began working at the State of Alaska as a Wage and Hour Investigator. In her spare time she plays recreational ice hockey, and is a skating official for the Juneau Rollergirls.
